Helping Pitties in the City (HPITC) is an affiliate program of Remember Me Ranch, a 501(c)(3) non-profit animal sanctuary and rescue. Our mission is to provide rescue to the many scared, starved, injured, abandoned Pit Bull Terriers that are facing euthanasia in the Milwaukee area and surrounding communities.
HPITC rescues dogs (and a few cats) from local animal control facilities (MADACC) and humane societies (EBHS and HAWS). HPITC also focuses on community outreach and education regarding responsible pet ownership and compassionate treatment of animals.
HPTIC is comprised of dedicated volunteers and foster parents, and funded strictly through donations. Our rescue pitties (and kitties) live in qualified foster homes, and are provided with quality medical care, positive reinforcement behavioral support, and TLC.
Please help us fulfill our dreams – foster, adopt, donate or volunteer for HPITC today! Your help and generosity is always appreciated. Contact us if you’re interested in making a difference.
We have fundraiser events and community outreach events in the Milwaukee area. Make sure to stay up-to-date with the latest news, events, and adoptables – “Like” us on Facebook! www.facebook.com/pittiesinthecitymke
